Projects on the go...
I haven't had much to say recently. Not much to wax-punditic about. Part of it is the crazy vacation that isn't, part of it is that I have come to the realization that anything I can say about Copyright or Politics, has probably already been said. So why bother talking about it?
Instead, here is what I am doing, in the world of code:
Instead, here is what I am doing, in the world of code:
- LispMeLanguageElements A list of language elements (functions, special forms, constants, etc.) in LispMe, (and Scheme in general)
- BunnyDice - A basicly complete project, I just have to fix some UI badness, and its perfect. I'll be distributing it here, so watch for it! It is super simple cheezy. It rolls a dice.
- BunnyTile - A tile editor that will eventually be part of my half-cocked-idea-half-god-game-half-rpg for the palm. This one is almost done as well.

Dicelife
An example of a Jonnay dice Decision
Every day When I get home from work, I am going to spend an hour...- Playing with Harmony
- Working on Harmonys Site
- Making Music
- Working on the blog
- Working on the bunny institute
- Spend an hour with Shell
The book itself can be a little hard to read sometimes. Not hard use-too-many-big-words-hard... not hard slogging-through-the-council-of-elrond-hard... but requim-for-a-dream-watching-it-fall-apart-hard.
That being said, I am going to give dicelife a try. Not to the extent of a fictional character in a book written in the 70's, but for a few decisions, why not? (see the sidebar for an example).
My plan? On the way to and from work, make some more dice decision points, and build a dice roller in scheme. I wonder if I can get random background IR radiation from the IR port somehow..? At any rate, watch this space for the scheme source, (and a Palm resource File).
And yes... most die decisions will be trivial. I don't plan on letting a plastic cube, or a few lines of scheme determine major decisions in my life.
